  • Features: Reporting ..................................................
The reporting of QAP submissions is dynamic and self directed. What this means is that unlike other EQA systems, submissions to EQA question is open ended and may continue over many years. Therefore QAPonline has provided a full reporting and analysis module for both the staff member to view their performance and the QAP supervisor to review the activity and performance of each staff member, each laboratory and the QAP group as a whole.
Individual Reporting
QAPOnline allows each staff member to view their own submissions at anytime after they have entered their answer or the view a full reporting of their performance both within the QAP group and against all other participants. If they wish, they may use this information for future employment as proof of their participation and competency or for their annual review.

Laboratory Reporting
If you have Laboratory Manager status within QAPonline, both you and the QAP supervisors may Select `Laboratory Accreditation` and prepare a full set of reports for accreditation purposes of the specific laboratory performance.

Data Analysis
If you have QAP Supervisor or Co-supervisors status, you may access the full reporting modules within QAPonline. These modules allow you to review the whole or individual laboratory performance, monthly activity and performance and individual staff members performance at any time.

Z-score and SDI reporting modules
Virtually all reporting in QAPonline centre`s around Standard Deviation units from the group mean. This is called the Z-score for IQC but SDI or standard deviation units for EQA reports. It uses the values submitted by professional participants i.e. those considered by the QAP supervisor to be competent to routinely perform the task.

Invalid replies.
Increasingly QAPonline will mark some replies as INVALID. This means that their replies are not included in the clinics EQA performance. Replies are marked INVALID if their is no value submitted - i.e a blank reply has been entered OR the reply is more than 4 standard Deviations from the trimmed mean. The reply is marked as INVALID.

Trimmed Means
All Mean data used in QAPonline is a trimmed mean. When more than 10 VALID replies have been submitted, results more then 2SD units are ignored and the Quiz Mean recalculated automatically.

Peer enrollment
From 2010 forward, some enrollments will be marked as PEER enrollments. Such participants are identified as having more than 10 years experience and whose performance over at least 10 QAP submissions have been within 1 SD of the trimmed mean. In some cases e.g WHO 5th Edition Sperm Morphology where a higher benchmark may be required, selected laboratories will be invited to as as a PEER laboratory and all staff in the laboratory will be included as a PEER sub-group.
