Premature hatching of a mature blatocyst. The opening in the zona pellucida that appears quite thick was made by assisted hatching for PGD. The ICM at abour 4 o`clock is made of a reasonable number of cells some of which appear fused while others have yet to join. The trophectoderm is developed at the base of the embryo but appears degenerate at the top. |
